Commitment Level:
The ONE Company members are required to participate from September through to our final showcase in June. This is a serious commitment and will not be taken lightly. Participants are expected to fulfill this commitment, and will be required to sign a parent/student agreement. The Company team attends 1-2 conventions/workshops and 4 regional competitions.
EXPECTATIONS OF A ONE COMPANY DANCER
Team Breakdowns
Mini Company (Ages 5-7)
This tier is designed for young dancers who are excited to be part of a team environment while being introduced to the fundamentals of dance and performance in a fun, supportive setting.
Commitment Overview:
Training: 1 evening per week (2-3 hours/week)
Competitions: 2–3 local competitions
Required Dances: 2 group routines
Performance Level: Introductory/Mini divisions
Program Focus:
Dancers in this tier will develop foundational skills such as coordination, rhythm, flexibility, and basic technique. Emphasis is placed on building confidence, learning teamwork, and fostering a love for dance through positive and engaging experiences. This program offers a gentle introduction to the competitive dance environment while maintaining a light and age-appropriate schedule.
Ideal For:
Dancers ages 5–7 who are new to team or competitive dance
Those looking for a fun and structured introduction to performance
Young dancers beginning to build confidence, independence, and classroom skills
Company: (Ages 8+)
This tier is designed for dancers who are passionate about being part of a competitive team, while also maintaining balance with other activities and commitments outside of dance.
Commitment Overview:
Training: 1 full evening per week
Competitions: 3 local competitions
Required Dances: 3 mandatory group routines
Performance Level: Novice / Pre-Competitive divisions
Program Focus:
Dancers in this tier will build strong technical foundations, performance quality, and teamwork skills in a supportive and motivating environment. This program offers the excitement and experience of competition while maintaining a manageable schedule.
Ideal For:
Dancers seeking a competitive experience with moderate time commitment
Those balancing school, other sports, or extracurricular activities
Dancers newer to competitive dance or transitioning into Company
Full Company: (Ages 8+)
This tier is designed for dancers who are highly committed to their training and are ready for a more intensive, performance-driven experience.
Commitment Overview:
Training: 2–3 full evenings per week
Competitions: 5 competitions (including local and U.S. events)
Required Dances: 4 mandatory group routines
Performance Level: Pre-Competitive and/or Competitive divisions
Program Focus:
Dancers in this tier receive advanced training with an emphasis on technical excellence, versatility, artistry, and competitive achievement. This program is designed for those looking to grow at an accelerated pace and fully immerse themselves in the Company experience.
Ideal For:
Dancers ready to prioritize dance as a primary commitment
Those seeking more performance opportunities and competitive exposure
Dancers interested in pursuing advanced training and potential future pathways in dance
Our Team Philosophy
While our Company is structured into two tiers, we are ONE UNIFIED TEAM. All dancers will:
Participate in full Company events, team bonding activities, and performances
Be held to the same standards of respect, teamwork, and studio representation
Support and celebrate one another across all levels
Training Expectations
All company team dancers are required to take the following classes, alongside their weekly routine rehearsals (included in your training fee):

Dancers wishing to extend their training will have the option to enroll in additional classes (an additional monthly fee, per class):

Dress Code
Practice Attire: Dancers will wear all black to all routine rehearsals throughout the week. Dancers are allowed to wear form fitted, practical attire to their training classes.

Ballet Attire: black ballet leotard of your choice, pink tights and pink ballet shoes (Capezio).
Team Attire: A team jacket must be purchased to be worn during awards ceremonies, to and from performances/competitions, and in between performances.
Competition Expectations
Your dancer will be required to attend 4 competitions, all scheduled between March and May. Competitions typically run Thursday-Saturday.
Your dancer will attend 1-2 conventions/workshops scheduled between October-March. These events typically run on a Saturday or Sunday.
Your dancer will participate in our end-of-year showcase in June.
